書名同內容一樣，佢確實係一本關於經濟既教學書。簡稱，雞精。Economics is about Life, the Universe and Everything. Economics is the study of rational human choices.

大家都會經常聽到 free market (自由市場) 會為一個國家帶黎經濟繁榮。背後既原因係：人係自私既。因為自私，所以每個人係呢個自由市場都會選擇 the most cost-efficient way 去達到個人最大利益。因此，令到呢個市場達到 cost minimization & profit maximization (最低成本、最大收益)。

一個地方成功與否，好多人都會分析佢既經濟環境。係 developed countries (已開發國家) 中，我地香港既經濟無可否認係成績不俗既一群。除左經濟環境，成功與否仲要睇埋：not just in terms of how much they produce but more importantly in terms of how they affect the development of the country's ability to produce, or productive capabilities. 而點樣去增加 productive capabilities，就要睇埋呢個地方係科技上同管理上既節拍、進步。至於香港既科技，大家都有目共睹......

雞精入面當然唔少得 d basic concept：supply, demand, cost, profit, GDP, GNP, stock market index etc. 同埋偉大既經濟學家 Adam Smith。佢既經典金句包括：Wherever there is great property, there is great inequality... for one very rich man, there must be at least five hundred poor. 要明白背後既原因，就要細讀經濟啦。

讀過 Econ 既朋友，呢本書可能對你黎講會有 D 悶，但都可以當係 review 下。未讀過 Econ 既朋友，呢本書就值得睇一睇，學下 D basic concept。
